Lady Amelia Windsor, the daughter of the Earl and Countess of St Andrews, made her début into society at the Ball des Débutantes in Paris.
Also in attendance were Kyra Kennedy, President John F. Kennedy’s great-niece; Akshita Bhanjdeo, a member of India’s Bhanja Dynasty; Monica Urquijo Zobel, an It Girl from the Philippines; Rebecca Eu, the daughter of a Chinese healthcare company chief; and Francesca Packer Barham, the granddaughter of Kerry Packer and Romy David.
Lady Amelia Windsor was born on 24 August 1995 at the Rosie Hospital in Cambridge and is the youngest daughter and child of George Windsor, Earl of St Andrews and his wife, Sylvana Windsor, Countess of St Andrews; née Sylvana Palma Tomaselli. She is the granddaughter of the Duke and Duchess of Kent and has two elder siblings; Edward Windsor, Lord Downpatrick (born in 1988) and Lady Marina-Charlotte Windsor (born in 1992).
The Lady Amelia Sophia Theodora Mary Margaret Windsor (born 24 August 1995) is the younger daughter of George Windsor, Earl of St Andrews and Sylvana Windsor, Countess of St Andrews, and is thus a granddaughter of the Duke of Kent, in addition to being a great-great granddaughter of George V.Lady Amelia was born at the Rosie Hospital, Cambridge. She is the only member of her immediate family who remains in the line of succession to the British throne. Her father married a Roman Catholic, and was removed from line of succession in accordance with the Act of Settlement 1701.[1] Lady Amelia's elder siblings, Lord Downpatrick and Lady Marina-Charlotte Windsor, both converted to and were confirmed in the Roman Catholic Church, making them also ineligible for the succession. On 30 November 2013, Lady Amelia made her début into society whilst attending the Ball Des Débutantes in Paris.[2]
